new years resolutions...i usually don't bother making them because i never keep them but sue got me in the mood so...
i think exercise more is going to be my number one thing...i have my pedometer now no reason not to start running again. also i haven't done my ab tape in a while...
eating healthier is also a big thing... i mean you might thing vegan=healthy food but not really. i live off bread and better than cream cheese mostly...yeah plenty of carbs but no real vitamins...except the ones that i take orally but yeah...
procrastination another big one....i've been trying to get over that for a while now though and i don't think i ever really will.
so i'll just try to eat right and exercise more and that's about it.
i burned some cd back in july and i have no idea what it is.
it's called "unknown album" and includes "track 1" through "track 14"
it sorta sounds like...emo...screamo..punky emo?
not sure.
it's kinda good...i tried searching for some of the lyrics but nothing showed up.
one song went "i won't let you down too hard...just like a gun to my head...but it feels alright...i guess i'll see you on the other side."
sounds kinda like bad taking back sunday.
or really early taking back sunday before they got good or something.

i was going to post about why i don't like rudolph the red nosed reindeer nor his sappy song but then i realized that i'd be a maddox poseur and well...i'm not as talented as maddox.
so we'll just leave that.
i had to have two coffees today to get me through the coma that is driving school.
when i turn 18 i might get some type of body modification...be it ink or other device.
i'd have to think about it a long time though...if i got a tattoo it would be something really meaningful to me...i mean it's permanent!
i think i want it on my wrist though
i was watching "teamo supremo" the other day and one of the characters says "chi-kah"!
oh yeah and in vegas i watched some anime on cartoon network (cowboy bebop, inuyasha, and some other stuff) and i kinda liked it! some of the characters were really annoying though. oh yeah and i watched pokemon like i used to hehe. ah man i remember watching pokemon every single day in 6th grade.

if you ever play mancala against me don't let me start. i think i perfected my strategy now...22 on the first go-around?
still..i want to play against someone! maybe maia or sue if we end up doing something (which we will god dammit even if we go see dramarama at the roxy)...eh we can always go skating and make fun of the "im so punnnnk" girls again or get lost in the movie theater..."is this gigli?!?!" hehe. good times.
heh i got underwear. it's the boy-cut kind...i like that style.
i thought someone stole my sheets but no there they are sitting on my bed. i'm too lazy to put them on my mattress.
so for 2 weeks my dad is having me do this beverage survey for him. it's incredibly annoying but hey i get 50 bucks for it. i have to record each and every "beverage" he drinks on this palm pilot. at first it was amusing but now it's just stupid. sooo many questions! and the palm pilot is messed up it won't go click so i end up stabbing it...now there's a dent in the plastic.
indian movies! i'm deprived.
i think i shall listen to indian music...haven't done that in a while. i ate at an indian restaurant the other day. they served goat cheese. ew.

i forgot to mention that i hate christmas songs too, sue.
they played like 50 billion different versions of "walking in a winter wonderland" while we were at vegas...that isn't even a christmas song. blah.
so then on thursday my mom said "last day of christmas songs!" but she was wrong. they were playing them on friday.

Hmm this might be a long post or not...depends on how tired i get. anyway vegas was tons of fun...but now that i'm back i'm sorta sad...soma seems like a no go (and i really REALLY wanted to go dammit) and Beeny's gone and Kim and Chry are leaving...but i'm supposed to go to Gal's sometime to watch Indian movies with Komal and Bianca Belinda and I might get together...anyway...
so monday morning we left for the longass car ride to vegas. I brought most of my homework with me but i slept most of the way so i didn't do much. I started the chem, got annoyed and stopped. Started math, got annoyed, stopped. So then I read the rest of the way. Interesting how i tend to get more carsick than most, but people tend to get carsick when they read in the car and i can read and not get sick...well i thought that was interesting.
So we finally got to vegas and we checked into our room...it was big! my mom said it was a party room...lol i think you coulda fit 6 people in that room...it had a nice big couch. anyway so then we went to a buffet at the orleans and it was...okay. not much to eat for vegans in vegas...especially at a buffet. i was waiting in line for the mongolian barbeque and the lady next to me was pretty gross...she kept picking at her meat with her fingers...wiggling it around and eating it with her bare hands...yuck. i told my mom about it and she kept cracking jokes about her..."you shoulda said 'arrrg me matey ye be wantin' a napkin with that?' because she was acting like a pirate" ha made me think of you kim. WHICH REMINDS ME...oh but you won't find out about that till later! MUAHAHAH!
anyway so it turns out that the Orleans (where we ate) has a new ice rink and they happened to have a hockey game going on at midnight. i know ice hockey team in vegas. well we have one so why not? anyway my dad was reluctant to take me to a hockey game at midnight, but he finally gave in. then we went back to the room and passed the time (eating shitty chinese food) until the game. oh yeah and i got two of my presents...a starbucks card and a joystick thingy that plugs into any tv and plays old namco games. it's so cool! i was playing dig dug and pacman and stuff on the hotel tv.
so midnight finally rolled around and we were off to the game. my mom didn't go with us...she preferred to gamble...on the penny machines! hahaha
mom: i hit the 2000 point bonus!
dad: so what is that, like 20 bucks?
mom:...yeah.
heh anyway so it was the las vegas wranglers vs the uhmm...bakersfield condors i believe. it was the first midnight hockey game in the history of professional hockey. sweet. i actually really really liked it. heh hockey is so violent. we were real close so you could really hear those guys being checked into the walls. ooh and then there were around 3 big fights! at one point the two guys threw off their gloves and were going at each other bare handed. the refs just stood back watching them. heh. the crowd really went wild, screaming and standing up. good times. the guys got 16 minute penalties though. heh. they also had these little contests between periods. one of them was musical chairs out on the ice...the most violent musical chairs game i've ever witnessed...and the team mascot "the duke" (uhhh what does a duke have to do with wranglers? also he was a big green thing. how is that a duke? meh. my dad said john wayne's nickname was the duke or something.)shot t-shirts into the crowd...pity when i rushed closer to him he shot a t-shirt to where our seats were...the guys behind me got it. there was also this blimp going around dropping paper things...my dad scrambled to get one and it was just a coupon for free buffalo wings. my dad likes free things but free buffalo wings is where he draws the line. (I don't eat buffalo! heh...jessica simpson is stupid.) anyway so the wranglers were tied up with the other guys...we left but they won during overtime.
tuesday my dad got me more shitty chinese food (for breakfast! it was some crappy no name brand..not even panda express. bleh.) and he got pissed when i didn't eat it. then we walked over to gameworks which is a gigantic arcade. my parents got me a 3 hour card (unlimited play for three hours whoopee!) and left to go gamble. i played a crapload of games...DDR of course...i waited till this girl who had never played before was playing..i'm not gonna play with those kids who spend their waking hours playing DDR. I also played this DDR-like guitar game...you press buttons when the lines reach the screen instead of arrows with your feet. I was doing pretty well until this snotty little kid came over and started bitching about how he wanted to play. "Hurry up! go faster! god how long are you going to take? i want to play now! let's go!" he whined. i wanted to smack him upside the head with my guitar. later he was playing a car game and i wanted to go over and bitch to him about taking so long, but i had my dignity. besides he was like 10 years old. then i played Dark Gauntlet Legends (one of my favorite games) for about half an hour with these kids. one of them was starting to get on my nerves with his superiority complex (i'm older AND taller than you so shut up!...i know...me? taller than someone?) so when he said "heyyyy how did you get on level 9?!" i told him simply, "because i'm awesome." then my parents came back and they watched me play some other games...i kinda wanted to play this virtual reality fighting game where when you kick your character kicks and so forth...but i didn't want to get my ass kicked by a 7 year old. oh yeah and there was a mechanical bull...i kinda wanted to do that but my dad wouldn't let me. "those things break peoples' backs you know!" yeah yeah dad that's why it's on the gauntlet. if sarah can do it then i can do it! uhm anyway...ooh and they had this giant rock climbing thing but i wasn't allowed to do that either.
Then we went to P.F. Chang's for dinner. it was really good! Then we tried to see the new pirate show...but it started raining so they canceled it. hah everyone was so pissed off. "i waited half an hour for this?!" i went inside to check out the gift shop...i was worried because Treasure Island changed their image. They are now "TI" and will have nothing to do with childish pirates. So i was worried that they wouldn't have anything piratey in the gift shop...but someone who likes pirates a lot might have gotten lucky.
that just reminds me that i was going to get chry hopping lederhosen lol.
wednesday....christmas eve..hmmm on wednesday i woke up early enough for my parents to take me out for breakfast. we went to a buffet of course. they had jew food! lol. the only buffet in vegas with a "happy hannukah" banner. mmm yeah it was okay, again not much vegan food. they had cream of wheat though. yum. then i went shopping with my mom...spent a longass time in hot topic trying to decide if i should get a shirt or not. at first i really wanted the green ninja turtles shirt but 1. it was too big and 2. it was 18.99. then i wondered if i should get a thursday shirt...it was a bit cheaper...but nope. got some pins for sue and beeny and such. that reminds me...my mom is really weird.
mom: look if you had the party room you could invite all your friends. like beeny and cecil...
me: cecil? who's cecil?
mom: the sea sick sea serpent!
me: whaaaa?
mom: cecil, the sea sick sea serpent! (for a while i thought she was saying C6Ccer-pant)
me: uh....okay...
mom: you know beeny is the little blonde boy with the hat with the spinny thing on it. that's probably who beeny's parents named her after...
me:...that's not her real name you know--you watched some weird tv shows when you were young mom

sorry i thought that was amusing. heh. anyway then we finally saw the pirate show...it was so LAME. i would call the entire hotel gay, but that would be an insult to homosexual people. it was just LAME. the pirate show used to be the coolest free show in vegas! it was the pirates against the british people and they would have a big fight with cannons and fire...and finally the british would lose and their ship would sink! well now it's the "sirens of TI" against the male pirates and there's singing and dancing...and it's so fruity. the songs are so shitty too. i mean it's like avril lavigne---NO! Hillary Duff's writers wrote these songs.
i think one went "you take a little bit of honey and a whole lot of sugar and you mix it. mix it up. if you want a house and farm i'll give you rum" something stupid like that.
another one went "hey you come our way i KNOW YOU want to stay OOOOHHHHHAAAA"...it was so awful i had to leave. on the way home i did my own renditions of the song.."doo doo i like flambe if seagulls flew over the bay they'd be BAGELLLLLLLLS!"
i like my version better...so did my mom who was cracking up.
anyway then thursday christmas...pretty awesome. woke up, breakfast buffet, then went bowling! my dad won both games...he didn't do very well though. he blamed it on the shoes and not having his own ball. hehe i did get a strike though. then my mom and i went to the Forum shops at Caesar's Palace and FAO Schwartz (crap how is that spelled?) was having a sale so my mom bought me mancala. bah! she lost one of the pieces already! (my dad:" just replace it with a penny!" ghetto.) and then we saw RETURN OF THE KING! ...I didn't cry...i don't cry at movies...okay just Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal nooo!!) and i almost cried during AI (I know he's a robot but don't leave him in the forest alone! augh!) so my eyes kinda teared up at some parts. but it was very good hooray! the lady next to me kept coughing.
today...went to my uncle's and had fun with my cousins. hehe Tad's new phrase is "aw man!" holy crap he got a drumset! and he's only 5! man i wish someone had gotten me a drum set when i was 5. then again his dad's a doctor. heh. my parents got Kimi a tape recorder/cd player/microphone machine so they had fun throwing insults at each other through the mic. "you have a big butt!" "you have an ugly butt!" "well...you're a butt!" uhmm yeah. anyway so that was fun and now i'm home.
I WANT TO SEE TAKING BACK SUNDAY DAMMIT. is that too much to ask? jeeze man first i'm gypped out of thursday (even though it was halloween...still...i'm not gonna get over that for a while) and now taking back sunday and a bunch of other great bands? BAH! bah i say.
